Spaceships and Love

I'm lazy about reviewing but industrious about reading :]

Currently reading

Confessions of a D-List Supervillain
Jim Bernheimer, Fiona Hsieh
Claiming the Courtesan - Anna Campbell

I loooved this. You want to know why? I'll tell you why- because I feel that Verity's "no I cannot relinquish myself!" vs Kinmurrie's "I must have you no matter what" seesaw was believable.

Usually this gets beyond tiring in books because the reasons are flimsy and the execution of the reason-we-can't-be-together only leaves me rolling my eyes. The plot in this book isn't original but that doesn't make it less enjoyable.

There should be a trigger warning for this book for anyone sensitive to such material(forceful sex and rape) will find this book hard to read. I think Campbell handled the scenes and the resultant emotional impact realistically.
