I like this installment of the Kinsmen series better than Silent Blade. I love the universe Andrews has created (she excels at this)- it reminds me of the lore from EVE Online. Anyway- the hero is delicious, the heroine is super competent and capable yet vulnerable which is a hard balance to strike. This story was more satisfying to me than a whole slew of books I've gone through recently, go figure. I usually hate short stories/novellas, but I really like this one. I will read future novellas in this series based on this.
